Organising Chairman's Message
I warmly invite you all for the 15th IACTA annual Conference to be held in New Delhi in February 2012. Venue is the Hotel Eros managed by Hilton at Nehru Place which is in heart of South Delhi with easy accessibility (Metro Station is there only) and lots of shopping areas/ malls and excellent restaurants serving mouth-watering cuisines. Delhi is anyway known for its old world hospitality and we will try our best to show you that!
The scientific committee has put together a very stimulating programme, intensive but different! Delhi is at its glory in February with lovely weather and gardens with blooming flowers which you can enjoy in the mild sunshine. We promise you a memorable experience, scientific and social! Hope to see you all in Delhi in February.

It is our pleasure to invite you to the Annual IACTA Conference. The conference will be hosted by The Society of Cardiac Anaesthesiology - Delhi & NCR Branch in New Delhi, the heart of India. This conference is designed to foster exchange and interaction between cardiac anaesthesiologists with a special reference to recent advances made in the field of haemodynamic monitoring. Leading International and National experts will also lead interactive discussions through scientific sessions and workshops of interest in the field of perioperative management of cardiac / thoracic / vascular patients and transesophageal echocardiography, topics which are emerging to change the face of cardiac anaesthesia today.
New Delhi, the capital of India, is a beautiful, modern and bustling city where east meets west in science and healthcare, fuelled by electronic communication, e-health and medical informatics. The culinary delights and radiance of our historic culture provide the 'spice route' to savour 'Incredible India'.
We hope to offer a unique platform to exchange information, share education, experiences, and review technology. We cordially invite you to New Delhi, India for this conference. The organizing committee looks forward to see you in New Delhi in February 2012.
The best season to visit Delhi is during the spring seasons of February to April. The bloom season of February and March make Delhi colourful. This time of the year brings greenery on the face of Delhi.
